Hi,

We would like to know if Export to Visio component is
available in PD 12. Previous versions of PD has this
functionality.

The purpose for us exporting PD 12 data model (Physical /
conceptual) to Visio is we would want other members to view
the data model who don't have PD licenses.

Thanks!

You should take a look at the PowerDesigner Viewer... It's a free
download, and it gives "read-only" capabilities for browsing PD models.

You can also simply copy the graphic from PD and paste it into just
about anything, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc, if you just want the
picture. Remember that the HTML reports are very functional.

I'm a bit behind the times so I don't have version 12 available. In version 11 there is no
export to Visio available. Instead you have to export the image to a file. From there you
could put the file into Visio.

As Paul said you can copy/paste from PD to Visio. But you still end up with just an image.
