Discussion:
Setting a many-to-many relationship on a logical data model, is this a bug?

Hi,

I'm using the latest Sybase PowerDesigner 16 build (16.0.0.3514 EBF1
trial version) and I'm trying to create a relationship between two
entities with a many-to-many cardinality.
For some reason, when I select this many-to-many cardinality when I
press Ok or Apply, these buttons don't do anything. I can only press
Cancel (sometimes I can't even interact with any of the remaining
settings on this screen).

This doesn't happen with any of the other cardinalities (one-one, one-
many, many-one).

Does the same happen in your PowerDesigner installation? If so, is
there any solution for this?

Best regards,
Norberto

Works fine for me in PowerDesigner 15.3 (15.3.0.3291 EBF4), in a LDM
for which, of course, 'Allow n-n Relationships' was set to true in
Model Options.
I created two entities, created one attribute in each and a PK
identifier in each, based on the just-created attribute.
Then created a 1:M relationship (the default). Then changed
cardinality from 1:M to M:M, clicked Apply, then OK, it got saved
fine, no trouble.

I haven't installed 16.0 yet, can't say what that one does.
